What is Islam?

The word Islam means voluntary “Submission” or “Surrender” to the Will of God. To believe in one God,  to obey his teachings

We believe in the one true God alone without partners.We believe in same God who sent Abraham, Jesus, Moses and Muhammed, peace be upon them all.

Almighty God  is One,Unique and Perfect, does not eat,nor drinks nor sleeps, has no partners, no equals and no rivals. 

God has no father, No mother,No sons nor daughters No wives , No family. God alone is worthy of all worship.

God sends prophets (messangers) to teach us how to worship him, and every prophet was sent to certain group of people with the same message ,

that there is no deity worthy of worship except the One True God.

 Muslims believe that Jesus is one of the greatest  prophets in Islam ,together with other prophets.They were all special and they were all humans like us.

Jesus was a noble Messenger of God but not divine God nor a son of God. God has no sons ,no family, He does not give birth.

We love Jesus and obey his true teachings and a person won't lose Jesus if  accepted Islam, but will correct his faith in him.

The last prophet that came after Jesus is Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him

Muhammed is sent to All Mankind because he is the last messanger of God .

 Accepting Muhammed as the last messanger and following his teachings, means that you also believe in Jesus , Moses and all previous prophets.

We do Not worship Muhammed , we do Not worship Jesus ,we only worship Almighty God who created them .

 What is Iman?

Iman (Faith) means to believe in the heart, to confess by the tongue and to act with the parts of the body.

What are the pillars of Iman (Faith)?

The pillars of Iman are six. The Muslim has to believe in: 

(1) Allah

(2) His Angels

(3) His Messengers

(4) His Books (Among these books is the Quran, which God revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.)

(5) The Last Day

(6) Qadar - Divine Preordainments good or bad.
